Introduction
Welcome to Glass Stairs, developed by Andres Velasquez. Glass Stairs is an ASMR toy where you send bottles rolling down a staircase and listen to them clink, roll, and shatter. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the app.
Information We Collect
We do not require an account and do not collect any user-provided content. The game itself — bottles, environments, and your play session — runs entirely on your device. We do not ask for your name, email, photos, or any other personal details.
The third-party services described below (advertising and purchase processing) may independently collect device and usage data as part of their normal operation.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate and monetize the app. Each may collect data in accordance with its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob: Displays banner and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and app usage data to serve and measure ads, and to personalize them where permitted by your settings and region.
- RevenueCat: Processes in-app purchases (such as removing ads or unlocking bottle packs) and manages purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives purchase and device data from Google Play to validate and track your entitlements.
- Google Play Billing: Handles the actual payment transaction for in-app purchases. We never see or store your payment details.
Advertising & Your Choices
You can limit ad personalization through your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization") or by resetting your advertising ID. Purchasing the "Remove Ads" option in-app disables all banner and rewarded ads going forward.
Data Retention
We do not operate our own servers or databases for Glass Stairs, so we do not retain any personal data ourselves. Your unlocked bottles, purchases, and progress are stored locally on your device and, for restoring purchases, in your RevenueCat/Google Play account.
Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell your information. We do not share any data beyond what is necessary for the third-party services listed above to function.
Children's Privacy
Glass Stairs is rated for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us so we can address it.
Security
Because gameplay runs on your device and we do not operate servers that store personal data, there is little personal data in transit for us to secure. Purchases and ads are handled by Google's infrastructure under their own security practices.
